Designer Shayne Oliver’s simple observation is becoming a fashion revolution.

Despite being one of the biggest new names in fashion, Oliver is kind of a loner. He grew up with his mom – a single mother – outside of Minneapolis. Because she had to work a lot, and because being an openly gay 13-year-old can sometimes be isolating, Oliver spent a lot of time thinking, observing and creating with his “air friends”.
